After the Wedding part 2 of 3 Vendor Review

As promised in my first After the Wedding post, here are my vendor reviews:
I do not think we could have found a more perfect location for our wedding than the Landmark. It was so easy and relaxing just to be able to walk from out room to our ceremony and from our reception to our room at the end of the night. Every staff member we came across during our wedding and leading up to our wedding was extremely friend and made us feel so welcome at the resort. Also I cannot forget to mention the grounds are absolutely beautiful.
Our Photographer Jason Mann went above and beyond what I expected out of a photographer. I could tell throughout the wedding planning, during the wedding and after the wedding Jason truly cared about our wedding and our wedding pictures, which you can see in our pictures. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about how wonderful our wedding pictures are and how great Jason was at the wedding. If Jason was not such an amazing photographer I would say he should be a wedding planner, because he had such great ideas and tips for us that really helped through the day.
The DJ/Photo booth:
I have to share my favorite part about Elite Music/DJ Matt, which was at the end of the night Matt got everyone on the dance floor and circled around my husband and I during a song giving us a chance to go around the circle and thank everyone. It made for a truly special way to end our reception and I heard that our guest really enjoyed it too.
Our photo booth was also through Elite Music Service and was so much fun. I did not feel like I had enough time to spend with each one of our guests and looking back at the photo booth book makes me smile looking at our guests letting loose and having fun.
I have to say it is a good thing Flourgirl is located in Fish Creek, because I know I would start creating reasons to order cakes! Our cake looked perfect and tasted even better. Sarah took Jayson’s idea of the perfect cake and made it a reality.
We actually had two flower vendors, one for our orchid center pieces and the other for our bouquets, boutonnieres and some décor. We ordered from our potted orchid center pieces from Orchid Garden Center near Madison about 3 months before the wedding and it was such a smooth and easy process working with them. As for the bouquets and such I wanted something local and I had a recommendation to Flora’s in Sister Bay. Helen with Flora’s really listened to what I wanted and created the perfect bouquets and boutonnieres.
I found my dress and the bridesmaids dresses at Vera’s House of Bridal in Madison. I never felt like I was being pushed to a higher price level or trying to be up sold, which made for a stress free shopping experience. As for the guys we only found one place that rented khaki suits Du Bois, which worked out perfected because they had a Green Bay location
Our first dance was one of my favorite parts of our wedding. We spend about 6 months working with Bojan and Karina from Fred Astaire in Madison. We had the most amazing instructors that took us from a rocking back and forth dance to a rumba/cha cha first dance. I would recommend dance lessons to any bride to be that wants something extra special for their wedding, because I know it made our wedding extra special.
This may just be the next big wedding reception trends or at least I hope it is, because the popcorn bar was really yummy! We ordered our popcorn from Double Delights in Egg Harbor and they will be one of our stops now every time we are in Door County. The popcorn bar was a great snack for cocktail hour and later in the evening.
