Real Door County Wedding — Rustic Glam Barn Wedding

Barns used to be just a place to hold farm equipment and grains, but as most of you brides know, they’ve become the chic place to have a glam wedding. The Woodwalk Gallery is one such barn.
The 1890s revitalized Door County barn, with a few well placed decor items, can turn into a beautiful affair — as you can tell from this gorgeous September Door County wedding captured by Tammy Lutze of Art of Exposure.
From the Bride … Chadwick and I met in Minneapolis when we were in college. We dated for 4 years before getting married.
Since first meeting, we have been traveling from wherever we are to Door County for vacations. My parents own a cottage in Bailey’s Harbor. Naturally, Chadwick proposed in Fish Creek at Sunset Beach Park.
When we were looking for venues for the wedding I just knew it had to be in Door County, and we wanted somewhere unique. My family has been a fan of Margaret Lockwood’s paintings for years so we though we would check out Woodwalk. As luck would have it, the day we went it was set up for a wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner at our cottage and the wedding the next day at Woodwalk.
